Cupping with Massage

"I have had multiple back issues for many years, including scoliosis, which I was starting to see the curve in my lower back.  I have struggled with daily pain and limited range of motion. I have been told that I will need back surgery in order to address the issues. I have been seeing Becky regularly for well over a year and she provided relief but it only made my issues tolerable. When I learned she had started cupping I was very interested and she agreed that it would be helpful. I had my first session and I'm hooked.  She attached cups to all the areas that held tension.  There were a couple of areas, my tightest areas, where I felt a slight pinch, but it faded as the knots loosened, but for most of the areas I felt only a small amount of pressure as Becky applied the cups and then I forgot that they were there.  When she removed them there was a tingling sensation, not at all unpleasant, and then she massaged the areas she had cupped.  The results were dramatic.  Areas that had been very sorry and tight prior to the cupping were now entirely pain free.  I previously had to mentally brace myself for the ache that came with release those knots but there was nothing there to feel sore. It's been nearly 24 hours since my treatment and I am amazed with the results. I have a greatly improved range of motion everywhere. My lower back no longer aches constantly, and I no longer feel any twinges or tightness when twisting or bending.  I am standing straighter.  Most amazing of all is that the curve in my lower back has been greatly reduced.  I didn't think I would see my back looking so straight again.  I have so much energy, from not being constantly uncomfortable and better sleep last night. Yes it leaves marks, I have 2 very noticeable marks, in the spots where I felt the cups the most, but they are easily covered with my clothing, and they are not at all painful.  I notice that my hips/back/and shoulders are popping a bit more then usual as things slip into place but it doesn't hurt. I recommend this for anyone with an injury/chronic pain.  I have already booked my next appointments.  If you're considering this procedure go, you're going to want to hug Becky after she's done!"

Cupping with Massage: 60 min, $90

Cupping therapy is a process of suctioning or vacuuming sections of the body's meridian system for the purpose of drawing out toxins, pain management, increasing blood flow, relaxation, and promoting a healthier flow of chi energies.

Often attributed to the Chinese culture and is a great compliment to massage.

The massage therapist will apply massage oil to your skin prior to placement of the cups. The cup is placed upside down directly onto the skin. As a result, a suction sensation occurs and the cup attaches itself to the body. The cups are then left on the body for a few minutes.

Typically, the cups are placed upon the client's back, but they will sometimes be positioned on other parts of the body such as the thighs, even the neck.

Circular welt marks and purplish discolorations, an effect of the air pressure, could possibly remain on the skin for up to fifteen days following your treatment. No need for concern, no harm. The marks do look curious.
